Jamb exam date

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has confirmed that registration for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will begin on April 8, 2023.

The registration period will close on May 15, 2023.

For those who are interested, a mock exam will be held on April 30.

The Single Tertiary Matriculation Test (UTME) will take place between June 5 down to June 19.

Here are the six steps to applying for the UTME in 2023:

1. Open an e-mail account that is legitimate and functional; this will allow you to send and receive information from JAMB.

2. Receive the national identification number (NIN) – The National Identification Number (NIN) is a necessary prerequisite for registration, according to JAMB.

3. Visit the JAMB website and create a JAMB profile before purchasing the application form.

Even after you’ve registered, you’ll use this method to review your results online when they’re eligible, as well as to check your admission status and print your admission letters.

4. Check Jamb iBass — it is important to remember that you must check your eligibility before applying for the 2023 UTME. These details will be available on the exam body’s official website.

5. JAMB e-pin: Once your eligibility has been verified, you can buy your 2023 JAMB e-pin registration for banks.

6. Once you’ve completed the steps above, take your personal information and profile code to any certified computer-based test (CBT) center.

For 2023 UTME/DE registration NIN is compulsory 

Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the board’s Head of Public Affairs and Protocol made the announcement on Wednesday.

According to the release, JAMB’s Governing Board made the decision following a meeting on March, 2023.

Applicants must have their National Identity Number (NIN) before registering for the exams, according to the statement.

The board also indicated that using a NIN was necessary for inclusion in the 2023 registration process.

Registration will take place in 700 computer-based test centers throughout the world, according to the release.

The timetable for this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Test and Direct Entry examination has been issued by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

  • The UTME will be held from Saturday, June 5th to Saturday, June 19th, 2023, according to the commission.
  • Registration for the exams will begin on Thursday, April 8th, and end on Saturday, May 15th, 2023, according to the board.
  • The board confirmed that the sale of the UTME/DE application documents would not be extended.
